GEOGRAPHY
Southeast Alaska extends from Icy Bay, just north of the Malaspina Glacier, to the southern end of Prince of Wales Island. Some 525 miles long and 120 miles from east to west, Southeast is composed of a narrow strip of mainland mountains and over a thousand islands of the Alexander Archipelago.
